smart optics Vinyl

Positive features of the Vinyl include precision, speed, longevity and an exceptional range of functions. From now on, the user themselves can decide whether they want to create a black and white or coloured texture scan for their job.

They also have the option of deciding which
scanning mode is the most suitable for their method of working. Alternatively, the dental technician also has the option of scanning with the door open or closed. The Vinyl offers maximum comfort and saves time with its fully automatic Z axis and the automatic positioning of the object being scanned in the measurement area. In addition, the Vinyl gives the user plenty ofstructural freedom, which is lacking in the usual method of screwing on spacer plates.

Valuable time that can be spent better

elsewhere. Along with the time saving, smart optics has also paid particular attention to operating comfort. The Vinyl’s 180-degree opening offers plenty of space for working and the improved motor controls ensure the motor

runs quickly and quietly. The large disk in the scanner allows all the most  common articulators to be inserted directly. It is guaranteed that you will be able to scan the condyles of articulated jaw models with articulators by the following brands:  Artex®, Baumann®, Gamma® and SAM®.

Articulators from other manufacturers are scanned based on average values. To ensure the
object being scanned remains stable, there
is a non-slip rubber mat on the disk, which
is slightly reminiscent of a record turntable,
hence the product name “Vinyl”. A particularly good addition for all users, along with the technical innovations, is the extended scope of supply. The multiDie adapter and an impression holder for the Triple Tray® Impression Scan are included in the supplied accessories. And to top it
all off, the Vinyl has a high quality, slick design.
